Welcome to our Master Thatcher website where we hope to tell you a little not only about ourselves but also a few facts to do with the very ancient art of thatching and thatch repair of old buildings.
We are Cox and Roberts Master Thatchers Limited, traditionally trained thatchers who take the utmost care and pride in our age old craft to ensure both longevity and aesthetic elegance in your new thatch be it for an old building or even a new one! (Yes! Houses are still being built with thatches!) All work is personally overseen by Toby Roberts or Andy Cox and usually both of us are present throughout the contract.
We can offer a comprehensive service and not only work on complete re-thatches but also frequently undertake repair work, re-ridging, surveys and insurance work as required. No job is too big or small and we are happy to advise whatever the requirement.
